We offer a two year preparation program for Confirmation with the sacrament celebrated sometime in the winter/spring of 9th grade. Phase I (Grade 8) is the first year and Phase II (Grade 9) is the second year of the program.

Phase I (Grade 8) Schedule
2007-2008

Phase I (Grade 8): Students attend a two hour session once a month with their parent or sponsor. These sessions are on Sundays from 4-6 p.m. The students are also required to complete service projects, tour the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and attend the Phase I Retreat on Sunday, September 23* at the Parish with Frank Runyeon from 1:30- 6:10pm. On December 13th* students are required to attend/assist at the St. Rose Christmas Party as their class obligation.

Phase II (Grade 9) Schedule
2007-2008

Phase II (Grade 9): Students register for classes that meet for 12 sessions on:

Sundays from 9:45-11:15am or

Mondays from 6:45-8:15pm or

Thursdays from 3:30-5p.m.

Following the Sunday class, students are strongly encouraged to attend the 11:30 Mass.

Students are also required to attend a retreat scheduled for October 21, 2006 from 2-7pm at Subiaco Retreat House in Oxford(details will be mailed to you) and complete service activities.

(Note to students: You are required to attend your assigned class each week. Please DO NOT "float" to another class day/time. You will be required to make-up missed classes.)

Confirmation is scheduled for Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the 5pm Mass.

Inter-Vicariate Agreement: Sacraments are celebrated in "home parish". Requirements are determined at home parish. Immediate sacramental preparation is the responsibility of the home parish.
