The celebration of the sacrament of Eucharist takes place in grade 2. Students are expected to have been in a religious education program for first grade before entering this program. Students in parochial school do not need to come to the weekly classes. However, they must come to a special session in the spring (March 27, 2004) and are encouraged to participate in the enrollment ritual during the Special Sunday Celebration (January 11, 2004).The weekly classes use the Celebrate the Faith series . The children spend a lot of time becoming familiar with the church building and its contents and studying the Mass.
