Mission Statement

To call the parish to a deeper respect for God’s creation and to engage the parish community, through education and activities, in practices which better care for and celebrate God’s creation, with particular attention to those practices which help the world’s poor.


Activities

Plan and conduct a parish Earth Day Celebration (held annually in the Spring)
Publish  useful “tips” for better earth care practices in the parish bulletin
Plan, plant and maintain parish gardens
Provide Earth Care Religious Ed Lessons

You may enjoy being part of Earth Ministry if you are interested in or knowledgeable about:

Gardening
Sustainable Living Practices (recycling, reduced energy consumption etc.)
Learning about church teaching on creation care
Helping to teach our parish community better earth care practices
Enjoy writing

Monthly meetings are held the 1st Thursday at 7 pm in the Activities Building
