With the Worship Commission, discern the parish worship and prayer needs;
coordinate the provision of quality liturgical celebrations and prayer services.
Assist families with the Rite of Christian Funerals and re-establishing a
relationship to the Catholic community. Work with pastoral staff, liturgical
ministers, and parish groups in the scheduling and preparation of liturgical
celebrations. Assist those coordinating the training and scheduling of all liturgical
ministers including environment, ushers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, altar
servers, and greeters. Oversee the inventory and condition of church facilities,
furnishings, and liturgical supplies.

Responsible for directing, instructing, scheduling, and organizing the choirs for children and teens aged 6-17 of our parish; directing weekly or bi-weekly rehearsals and monthly participation at the 11:30 Mass separately during the choir year; manage special events for the Choirs including holiday masses, community events, celebration gatherings, and year-end concert; compose instrumental parts for students; communicate with parents and families.

Prepare lesson plans for the Pre-K thru 3rd grade religious education program, meet with catechists monthly, provide assistance to catechists as needed, and supervise, along with Director, the Pre-K thru 3rd grade religious education program. As Coordinator of C.L.O.W., prepare all of the resources used for each session of Children’s Liturgy during the 9:45 and 11:30 masses on Sunday; train and enrich the facilitators through planning to provide the children with a church liturgy on a younger level.

For Youth Group, lead the dynamic community of teens (grades 9-12) in celebrating friendship, faith, and service; offer weekly Youth Group meetings with faith sharing, camaraderie and prayer; organize their participation in several outreach projects and special events each year including Project People, OCIMA food packing, Upcomers, canoe trips, Cedar Point, retreats, and the Archdiocese Rainbow Conference. For Confirmation, work with Pat Egan-Myers on creating catechetical lessons for Phase I and Phase II confirmation students; organize retreats; facilitate service opportunities for Phase I students; and help coordinate all steps of sacramental preparation.

Lead the parish in a full response to Catholic Social Teaching through works of charity and promotion of social justice; support the formation and functions of the Christian Service Commission; provide ongoing education and formation to parishioners about human needs and the means to respond; serve as liaison between CSC, staff, and other agencies; coordinate the recruitment, training, and support of Christian Service volunteers; oversee the schedule and budget of CSC programs;  respond to persons in financial crisis with available donations and outside referrals; network with other Vicariate and Archdiocesan CS staff for collaboration and enrichment.

Manage the financial, building/property operations and staff human resources functions of the parish. In collaboration with the Pastor, Bookkeeper and Finance Council, oversees development of the annual fiscal year budget. Oversee all capital improvement projects and ongoing maintenance requirements for parish buildings and facilities, parking lot and adjacent property. Meet on a regularly scheduled basis with the Pastor and Finance Council to review the financial condition of the parish as well as building capital improvement and maintenance projects and other administrative matters related to parish operations. Under direction of the Pastor, establish and administer parish human resource policies and procedures in support of the parish staff.

Maintain inventory of all supplies to stock the parish hall kitchen paid for through the hospitality fund in the parish budget. Monitor the appliances for breakdowns, repairs and replacement. Remove outdated food items from the refrigerator weekly and clean the inside as needed. Be available to parish staff and volunteer event coordinators for consultation on proper preparation and quantity of food, and additional supplies needed for an event. Order and deliver to the hall products needed for Social Sunday. Consult with host committee prior to Social Sunday. Launder towels, rags and table skirts as needed. Sanitize kitchen as needed. Coordinate with maintenance staff to arrange help with items needing special attention.
